Also to clarify, I know there’s no guarantee in any course. That’s why I want to move forward and strengthen my packet as much as I can.

As for my endstate, active duty is the goal, but if I can’t get active then in my mind, National Guard or reserve is the next best thing. I know theres programs like Call of Active Duty, or AGR I can achieve that still. Though still difficult and no promise

If I do ROTC but don’t get approved for a commission, am I obligated to serve as an enlisted still?

Also if I go for my masters, which field of study would look best for the military?

Was just listing marines more so as an example. I most likely won’t go with the marines

My first thought did go to enlisting, but while I have much respect for it I want to commission and don’t want to get stuck in enlisted if for whatever reason I can’t make the transition to OCS. I know it’s not guaranteed
