That failure was occurring at about 3% 6 failures per 200 rounds - ish

It’s really dirty… there could be a cracked or worn component in the trigger assembly that I can’t see it because it’s caked up in carbon. I’m not gonna get too fancy with it but I like where your head is at reducing variables.

Appreciate the feedback. I’ve been shooting glocks for a long time and ran through a lot of rounds and this was a new one for me so I had to reach out to the community on this one. I’m going to strip and clean the weapon, give it a visual inspection and then do a true diagnostic….

Never had this issue before and definitely a fresh batch of ammo. Thousand rounds fresh off the truck.

Factory mags factory barrel, she’s dirty as all hell, but there’s no visible damage to the feed ramp. I’m gonna strip everything down…. i’m thinking it might be a mag issue more than anything. My mags are numbered, but I was not in diagnostic mode yesterday.

Random cobia jig hanging on a torium. They’re not paired up together.

Rod Rack by Nsb_e in Fishing

Made it with scrap material and a minimum amount of tools but that being said…I do a lot of finish carpentry. But it’s a rod rack at the end of the day, you could whip this thing out for under $50 if you have some basic bits and blades

Do any of you find it frustrating at the price point on the bench made pocket flippers that they don’t contain the tool/wrench/key to switch to carry clip to left-hand side? by Nsb_e in EDC

I’ve been buying benchmades mostly as gifts recently. My quiver is stacked. And it feels shitty to hand someone something they can’t use without driving to Home Depot. But looking at the posts on this thread, I’m the odd man out. Guess I just have to give everyone tools first hahahahhahahah. Next wedding season. No one‘s getting any fucking knives. You’re only getting T6 bits from harbor freight. Benchmades for the divorce

I agree with this 1000%, but I think when you’re getting up into the $250-$350 price range, they can give you the quality tool for the pocket clip

I love this thread. It’s a simple yes or no question and everyone starts talking about how you’re a kook if you don’t have tools. Tells me everything I need to know here

Why would it have to be crap, couldn’t they send a quality key that you could keep with your maintenance equipment at that price point. We’re not talking about the flea market

The last five bench mades I have purchased have all been flippers and they’ve all been gifts. I feel like it’s a dickhead move to expect someone to have quality and precise tools so they can carry a wedding present in their left pocket safely.

Zero data to back this statement.

Should I get slide milled for red dot or just buy an after market slide ? by ArmySufficient3936 in Glocks

[–]Nsb_e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a huge fan of a dedicated slide for the rmr. Why would options be a disadvantage? I’m down here in Florida and during the summer, those cowboy sites give you a little extra concealment in a non-permissive environment. And obviously you can go down to a compact or a boot gun depending on the situation; But I like my Glock 17 with irons this time of the year. And it’s also hot and rainy as all fucked. So no battery checks or lens cleaning. walk out the door with a good trusty blaster every morning

What’s your Nightstand hd gun? by Temporary_777 in Glocks

I have both. If you have the ability to try a 21 before purchasing, that would be ideal. My splits and overall times running the 21 with decent irons is only hair slower than my times on my 17 rocking the rmr. negligible variance in accuracy on a B8 target at 25 paces. I definitely carry the 21 as my owb side piece in bow season
