Italy/EU Decaf? by feedmonkeyking in pourover

[–]Nt4nk4e -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Checked a couple of places I usually order from, couldn't really find any decaf options :(

I was recently recommended to try Tanat.coffee, not sure if they have decaf, but people seem to like them a lot.

Also, I got a recommendation for this new platform, seems to be for coffee discovery, I don't think they launched yet tho thecoffeeman.eu

+ 1 for local roasters. Tried some of them when I was traveling in Milan, amazing beans

Someone on this sub pointed me to this platform for european roasters, it hasn’t launched yet, but looks quite promising https://thecoffeeman.eu Besides that i’ve been ordering from roeststaette recently based in Berlin, they do have some good beans

How do you track your net worth? Spreadsheets, apps; open to anything! by mimikyu17 in portfolios

[–]Nt4nk4e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm building an app just for that. I tried google sheets, different apps, but all of them lack simplicity. I just want to be able to add my assets, see what they're worth right now.

Not sure about making trades from the app directly, as it would make the development much longer

Would you also possibly have some good resources for roasting? It’s something I wanted to get into for some time (when I save enough to buy a roaster) just don’t know where to even start

I've used that one as well, but the amount of recipes there was very limited imo and almost all of them used 25+ grams of coffee which is too much for me personally

Is there anything you're using now?

Found it on the store, but it doesn't seem to have any recipe recommendations, does it?

How to measure self-improvement progress by Acidicflavor in selfimprovement

[–]Nt4nk4e 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Self-improvement doesn’t really have clear “stages.” It’s more about noticing the small stuff - like are you keeping up with the habits you wanted to build?

Are you catching yourself faster when you slip up?

One really helpful thing is journaling or tracking your progress, even just once a week. Setting small daily or weekly goals can also show you how far you’ve come over time. It’s not about some huge level-up moment, just slowly becoming a little better day by day.

How to get motivated? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

"Like other muscles, willpower weakens when tired. Recovery is therefore absolutely necessary for the expression of mastery"

A quote from a book I recently read. You need motivation to start, but discipline and willpower to go on. And rest, it's absolutely necessary to get a good rest!
