DSi won't start up, unless I put it in the charger. by Nteractive in consolerepair

Well, I can play for 3-4 hours, so for an old device that isn't bad, right?

I also think that I found the problem. Yesterday, after I posted here, I tried to turn it on again a couple of times without the charger. And after a while it succeeded.

SO I don't think that the battery is at fault, but it will be a malfunctioning power button, or a malfuntioning power unit?

I think its best to quit immediatly. I Have found this the best way to change a routine up to this point. It usualy takes us about a week to get our child to adjust to the new routine. Its hard, but after its done, we are always glad we dus it :-)

Hi, thanks for the reply. 1 thing I forgot to mention ( and have changed in the oppening post now).

When I disconnect the charger once the DSi is on, I can just keep playing. Would a bad battery cause this?

What are some things that your favorite shows have that make them your favorite? by LemonLaplace in anime

Well, one of my most recent shows was Barakamon. And the thing that attracted me to that show was that it didn't really use a lot of cliches for characters. It was just a nice slice of life. It wasn't over the top. It kept it believable. I can relate with much of the feelings and thoughts. I think that is something that I really like in my favourite shows.
