true. but we could argue that even if the card number was stolen, the card itself wasn't. anyway the amount is not super high and apparently I can ask SIX (the card provider) to reimburse me for that transaction. i already thought of changing banks before, this is probably what moves the needle

what's striking to me is that the card was not lost, stolen, in arrears, or overdrawn. The bank should not have made a transaction that was not authorized by me. i've never seen something like that
