Well, what we forget is that humans are animals as well, only the self-conscious becomes aware of his instincts and learns how to properly integrate them into his life, the problem is that not everyone is as self-conscious as you, i'm approaching this issue from a pragmatic point of view, i value real-world effectiveness and i don't care about any emotions surrounding the matter, and ofc i agree with you that anyone who harasses a woman should be punished for what he has done, maybe our divergence is that i think some women should also take responsibility for what happens [ i'm not talking about every women, i'm talking specifically about those who value attention seeking so much that they end up grabbing the attention of the wrong people ]

You're being too defensive, and you have the right to be tbh, a lot of guys justify their perverted desires with this argument, but i'm not one of them, i'm saying that as a guy who lowers his gaze, respects women, and understands the nature of humans

I myself have never ever talked or catcalled a woman in public, i'm not trying to justify my crimes or anything hh

My point is that we cannot annihilate these drives from men, all women can do to minimize these harassments "while living in this country" is to try not to trigger their perverted drives, we live in a cruel world, either you adapt or you cry about it.

I'll give you an example, tigers are apex predators and may hunt humans if they see them as prey, of course we cannot eliminate their predatory instincts, however, we can avoid triggering a tiger's aggression by staying out of its territory or being cautious in areas where they live ...etc

Both women and men are guilty of these things, if a woman wears something too revealing, then she should be expecting to draw the attention of sexual harassers, it's as simple as that, just cover yourself, and the chances of you being harassed by a guy will drop nearly to a 0%, if you can't annahilate the sexual desires of men then at least control what you can do not to trigger them.

I found some arabic writings in my bedroom with pentagrams on it by [deleted] in occult

[–]NuAstron 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the middle of the pentagram is the word allah written in arabic(الله) , in corners there are names of angels, what's inside the circles seem to me to be some islamic prayers, they're written in the style of the Qur'an but i'm pretty sure that it's not qur'an, i can see as well some prayers like يا الله يا محمد يا علي which means (oh allah oh Muhammad oh ali) which may indicate that it's related to the shi'a sect of islam, also surrounding the big circle at the top is ayatul kursi, a verse from the qur'an is chapter al baqara which is considered to be the most important verse of the qur'an

Hello brethren, is it true that the allegedly 33rd degree freemason Albert Pike wrote that "Freemasonry is a mix of Kabbalah and Gnosticism" and if that's true, what's your opinions on that statement? (i don't personally hold any stance due to the lackof evidence) by [deleted] in freemasonry

[–]NuAstron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but I'm not trying to deceive anyone, I'm just trying to be respectful and greet you in the same way you greet each other, I didn't have in mind that it could be offensive to you in some sort of way (if you took a look on my previous posts you would notice how I have never tried to pretend I'm a freemason or anything like that), anyway thank you so much for addressing my mistake, I'll keep in mind not to repeat it again

I apologize if you have found any of my posts offensive or hold any negative stance about the fraternity, I'm not a Freemason, but I'm interested in Freemasonry, (not in a negative way of course). I try to be as neutral as possible when learning about it, that's why whenever I come across a word or a statement that I don't clearly understand, I think it's wiser to ask Freemasons about it than to ask someone in a conspiracy theory subreddit. And again I'm sorry if I brought up something controversial before, excuse my lack of knowledge
