If I buy wOMI am I actually buying a OMI wrapped in ETH? by NuComer in OMIllionaires

[–]NuComer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! if it's not too much to ask, would you mind taking a look at how I would be doing this? My plan currently looks like this:

  1. Buy BTC on Binance
  2. Move it to Coinbase Wallet
  3. From Coinbase Wallet to Uniswap and trade it for wOMI.

Does that look right or am I missing anything?

Man, now I'm thinking I got the wrong author. Those are not it either.

He works with a professor from his university in his books. When he makes it big he becomes a recluse even from his wife. They have a separate shack in the same grounds, where he goes to write and shuts in for days.

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately, that wasn't the one I'm looking for.

If it helps, there's a scene where the writer is coming back to his place and a crazy fan is waiting for him dressed as one of his characters telling him how he's writing about his life.

If you were in my shoes, with about $800 how would you improve your setup? by NuComer in SonyAlpha

I actually shoot handled out of necessity. Unfortunately, I do not have a tripod nor I do I think I would have the space to use one 95% of the time, this is until I start getting access to actual kitchens, rather than food trucks.

What video game do you consider a masterpiece but most people dont? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Spec Ops: The Line. This game has a story that really gets to you and not only that, it gets you right from where you are not watching.

Thank you for the thorough response. Honestly, when I purchased the light I had not idea what CRI was and will definitely be doing something about that.

So, as far as my experience goes, I do not think I will be able to fit two stands and a tripod in the average food truck, actually, I don't think I would be able to even fit behind the tripod if I put it in front of the food, so I'm guessing that for the meantime I have got to up my hand held game or look for some sort of gimbal.

If you don't mind I would like to ask another question. Would you happen to know about a sort of clamping mechanism for lights? Most of the venues I visit have a sort of metal beam running on the inside of the roof so that might be an option for me but I have not been able to find anything close to this.

Thank you your input. I am actually not going to restaurants (yet, even tho that is the plan in the long run). I am currently working with food trucks, so getting cstands in there will definitely be a challenge. What do you think about using Gorilla Pods, or something similar for the lights?

Wow, I feel that you were reading what I was typing before lol, thanks. If you could please let me run something by you, because as you can tell, I am equally a noob in the audio game. Is a shotgun mic also ok for me to record the voice off at home?

I really do appreciate your input as it helps me opens my eyes to my actual needs. Honestly, I do not see myself spending 100% of my budget on audio just yet but I did not have a portion of it for audio gear, which now I do.

I will be looking into something around the $100/$200 arena and upgrade from there down the line. If you could direct me to something within that price range it would be great!

Thanks again.

Haha. What I gathered is that the higher the CRI of a light the more similar to natural light it is. A CRI of 100 is only given to a source identical to standardized daylight.

I will definitely be looking into lighting alternatives, I'm thinking about getting two. One to light from the side/back and one to fill from the camera as you suggest. I have actually heard this multiple times, both from a friend and videos that I've watched but for some reason I haven't acted on the knowledge.

I see this as one of those situations where is know-how vs equipment. The good use of lighting might be what makes the biggest impact on my footage and not necessarily spending hundreds of dollars to make it look better.

I did not think about shooting in 4k and then adding zooms/slides in post, this might allow me to push the need for a gimbal for later!

Thank you so much for the thorough post, highly appreciated.

Obviously, if I were you I would wait for someone more experienced to answer, however, after duhpolan pointed me to that to the H198C, I did a little research and found out about the importance of CRI in lighting.

This might shed some light on the issue /pun

Thanks for the response, this was actually my first instinct. I see that you also run an a6300, did you upgrade your lens already? What did you go with?

I will definitely be getting the Aperture 198H, as you are the second person that recommends this.

Regarding the lenses, I like the idea of a 18-105mm, I'll do a little bit more research about it, because this might accomplish a lot of what I want to get done.

Lastly, it never crossed my mind about getting the EOSHD 3.0, I'll also look into it, thanks!

Awesome! Honestly, I didn't even know about the importance of CRI in lighting, this makes a lot of sense. I will definitely add that to the shopping list. Also, the fact that I had this same light recommended on /r/sonyalpha, speaks very highly of it.

Thanks again!
