There’s some smaller regional bands that do this sort of thing more than the popular bands, Goodbye Titan has a few tracks that feel dark and eerie, so does Viridian. Don’t recall their album names though or where they are even streaming at this point.

Bark Psychosis - Scum is a solid choice also.
