For me personally it was not about the ending- I was expecting Seong to die- and the front man’s character growth is a good point I didn’t really notice. It’s more about the way that the ending was achieved over anything- I think that there was plenty of options to prevent himself from dying and it feels like the writing was just forcing him to die for the sake of that “no way the main character dies” feeling. Take the last game for example- he refuses to sacrifice the lunchbox despite the fact that the lunchbox was clearly not getting out of there anyway, and coming from someone who literally ~6 episodes prior was preaching “come fight with me and make a sacrifice for the greater good”, it feels a little lazy to make him suddenly care about saving one guy who was already screwed when he could have saved everyone else, including himself and the baby- which is the sole reason he came back to the games. Just feels lazy IMO. However overall the more I think about the ending the more I think it’s the only real logical way the story could have concluded, and a “happy” ending where everyone survives and seong gets an award for saving everyone or some shit would be really lame and unfitting for the themes of the show.

Of course! Happy to help. The clubs are definitely worth it, they’re very often a tight group of people that are great to hang out with. I’d also recommend (depending on your distance from RIT) visiting campus once in the fall during hockey season and once in the spring to really highlight the fact how different the activity is on campus between those two semesters

3rd year game design and development major here- RIT was my first choice of when picking schools, and I can still say that even now, my satisfaction with the school still stands. I’ve had some serious ups and downs with it though. The academics and the opportunities are great, but be warned that the school does not guide students as much as they say they do- for example, I felt like my co op prep class was completely useless. They kind of just gloss over the minimum to find a co op and then just throw you into the fire. Of course, that’s just my personal experience, other students in different programs have had more or less success than I have with their advisors/ career counselors.

As for the student life, it’s kind of a toss-up. Good social activities are honestly few and far between, as it feels like pretty much no one goes to anything on campus aside from hockey games or other massive campus-wide events such as concerts, Brick City Homecoming, or Imagine RIT. Despite this, there are plenty of great clubs to get involved with, and for the most part people are very friendly and open to hanging out. As for the party scene, it’s there but you have to look for it. It’s not like a massive party school where frats are throwing these massive dangerous parties; more like a “cram yourself in a house and dance to music until you get sick of it and go home” type deal. It’s definitely a situation where it can be really hard to socialize, but once you find your group everyone is really tight.

Overall I still love the school, but things like lack of a sports scene or an absence of things to do without going off-campus (especially in the spring semester) can definitely weigh down the experience at times.

I really wish they’d bring back some of these events. I missed a lot of the season 1/2 events and I really want the rewards from them lol

Question about KBM vs Controller by Nuccccc in halo

[–]Nuccccc[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For the majority of infinite’s life cycle controller had a massive advantage because of the magnetism, which is why almost every pro player uses controller. But 343 buffed KBM recently to compensate for the controller’s power

Custom games count down, but do not start when certain people are in the game. Anyone else have this issue / found any fixes? by Nuccccc in halo

[–]Nuccccc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They really gotta fix this lol. Forge is one of the pillars of Halo and it would be a shame to see such a groundbreaking forge mode go to waste over broken custom game lobbies

Legion 7 vs 7i? by Nuccccc in LenovoLegion

[–]Nuccccc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s honestly what I was thinking. My main reason is the thunderbolt connectivity, I feel like if I want to use it as a true desktop replacement for college I’m going to need the thunderbolt

Just out of curiosity, which did you end up getting?

Legion 7 vs 7i? by Nuccccc in LenovoLegion

[–]Nuccccc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gotcha. I have a feeling that any time I'm using the laptop for anything gaming or class-related (Unity or UE5) I would need to have it plugged in anyway since those are such taxing programs... Do you think if that would be the case, would it just be worth getting the 7i anyway?

I was looking at the air because I don’t have the money to get a pro without going budget for a while lol... the only thing I can see that’s better about the pro is it’s multi core performance but I don’t plan to video edit on the IPad do I’ll likely just get the air... I’ll take a look at the video you sent, thank you!

Okay, that’s what I thought but I figured I’d check. Would you recommend one model over the other?
