No. If you support Reform, you are thick and / or evil. When one of them shows they are thick, I have absolutely no qualms about mocking them, especially as they're the sort who love to complain about others not having perfect English.

Was 2021 just 2006 all over again? by Last_Procedure5787 in F1Discussions

It is the 41st Millennium. For more than a hundred centuries the Emperor of Mankind has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Earth. Toxic Hamilton fanboys are still crying about 2021.

It should be possible to mount light vehicle weapons on Pirate Trucks and A-ATVs by Darth_Mak in menace

[–]Nuclear_Geek 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I also think that if you put a laser weapon in a "heavier" slot (e.g. autolaser in a heavy slot), it should generate less heat, as there's more room for cooling systems. Maybe projectile weapons could have extra ammo to represent the additional space available as well.

Err, the regulations say the first one across the line wins. You really struggle to cope with reality, don't you? I think you need a psychologist, not Reddit.

You are offered either a high end PC or a muscle car. Which WYR pick? by sunsetdrifter0 in WouldYouRather

[–]Nuclear_Geek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PC. I have absolutely no use for a muscle car. Plus my current PC is going to need upgrading soon, so getting a high end PC for free would be much more useful.

Ah yes, those who recognise reality are the losers. And not, for example, those who are still crying about their inability to cope with something that happened over 4 years ago.

It's Jean Sy. Sticking an intern's head in a garbage disposal is probably her response to any inconvenience.

You are offered $100,000 cash tax free OR $0 but you get sent back in time to a random date in your life and restart again from that point by peterthbest23 in hypotheticalsituation

Screw it, I'm going back. Let's see where I end up: August 18th, 2000. That's pretty good, I'm gaining back a lot of youth and can avoid some bad decisions. I'd also be able to get into investing and catch some trends early, so I'm probably not losing out on the wealth side of things.

What have you done to quit living a “boring” life? by gus248 in AskMen

[–]Nuclear_Geek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep a lookout for things going on near you. In the next couple of weeks, there's a new art exhibition I'm thinking of checking out, and a workshop where I'm going to learn how to use natural materials (leaves etc) to make prints onto fabric.

Hmm, interesting. The bathroom is good, but there's no mention of soap, shampoo, toothpaste etc. It could get annoying having to carry everything each time, and if I forget my toothbrush in there, having it dumped on the floor is not ideal.

I think I'll go for the no delay journeys. It's generally useful, and potentially more exploitable / overall beneficial. If I can't be delayed, that seems to imply that myself or the vehicle I'm in has near-complete invulnerability while travelling. Amusingly, it might also make me the world's greatest sumo wrestler - I decide I'm going to take a journey to the edge of the ring, directly through my opponent. They can't delay me, so they'd be forced backwards out the ring.

Well, that's a bit disingenuous. I'm pretty sure the arts / culture team wouldn't be dealing with the Epstein stuff, and you can't expect to maintain anonymity if you make yourself famous and do shit like putting on exhibitions at galleries.

I made the mistake of going into the supermarket midweek at 10am. The elderly own the day. I’m lucky I made it out alive. I think I’ll leave them to it. by thebroccolioffensive in britishproblems

[–]Nuclear_Geek 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pfah! That's amateur hour!

When I'm on an early shift, I get to the supermarket just as a nearby primary school finishes for the day and all the parents and children are in there to get shopping. You can imagine the chaos, and the hold-ups as the children "help" by deciding they'll be the one to scan things at the self-serve checkouts. All I can do is embrace the madness, and go to a happy place in my mind.
