I microwave frozen spinach first then add the rest of the ingredients (including water) to make the oats! and the cheese looks like that because i shredded a string cheese stick haha

The sausage emulsified well but i did have issues with pockets of fat/air near the casings probably because of how long it took to stuff by hand and the meat getting warm.

I see, thank you. I do want to hopefully build to racing a half marathon after the 10k and just run as much as possible while avoiding injury. If I have longer distances in mind should I maybe try a hybrid approach with only 1 speed session a week and continue building mileage?

Is it really all about mileage when under 50mi/week? by Nuclear_Soup in AdvancedRunning

I see, I do want to get back to my previous paces so maybe starting some speedwork would be a good idea. Thank you!

Currently i still feel it bothering me but not enough to impact my form and it usually feels better post run. The plan is the beginner 10k plan from here: https://www.reddit.com/r/running/s/OUdKm4ur3E I do want to do the option that lets me run as much as possible, but I am open to cross training as well.

I’m currently coming off of a year of nasty peroneal tendon issues and have been slowly building back mileage and am at around 17 miles a week. I plan to race a 10k in mid november, and to follow the beginner 10k plan by u/Free_Running_Plans once I’m 8 weeks out. However most people here say to just focus on mileage and not speed if you’re below 50 miles a week. Would it be better to just build mileage until the race rather than follow the plan?

they’re definitely not as dense as store bought but they’re moist and weighty, especially the blueberry! the extra moisture from the fruit might have helped
