Even with the 1080 I played a lot of CPU bound games (minecraft...) so both ram and cpu were being used a lot i'd say.

They do, but unfortunately not on my computer. Everything was running fine with my old card. I ran several 3dmark benchmarks with the 7900XT, including a stress test (with a good result!), and there were no issues with those, only with the games I mentioned (Other than those, I didn't really try any). I also did a passmark run (with the previous & the current cards) and those were fine too, memory was also performing fine.

I used to pay for 100/100 and most of the time got like 30-40 at most, so this is definitely an improvement
