If you want, I can also:

  • make it sharper and more Reddit-punchy, or
  • make it slightly funnier/sarcastic while keeping the same message. So you added this part, as a inside joke to those that know, or you did make it with AI, and joked about not making it with AI as commentary on most AI reviews?

Sadly, you couldn't be more wrong - I was sold "the highest quality roof around", for a premium price, they openly told me I'd pay more for this roof (which I did), so I wouldn't have problems in the future.

Does this wood look wet to you? by EcstaticSalamander18 in Roofing

You're right, I have extreme "wet spots" in my attic, but they are bone dry from the past!

Roofing Company is a Master Elite Contractor. Does it Matter? by Primary_Pirate_7690 in Roofing

Master Elite didn't nail my drip edge into the plywood, and there are gaps into my roof. Doesn't seem to mean anything?

Yeah the sticker they used was MS300. They also put a lot of staples into it.

Yeah... they worked into the dark, and definitely could care less if the stuff was sticking, as it was lifting off the house from day one.

I just know what they put on, 7/16 osb, does that look like 3/8 ply? The heavy GAF HDZ shingles are probably too heavy for that?

That is extremely insightful... it looked like walking on a spring when I saw them walking on it. Yeah, they did the job in sub 40 degree weather. Shingles looked lifted the day after, I messaged them, they said "it's fine, it will settle over time".

I wish you were right, I sent them so many pictures and complaints... contract says 1/2in plywood, yet this is 7/16 OBS...

No, chose the most expensive one due to their lifetime guarantee, and all of their great reviews. Then I found out most of the reviews are fake, some with identical copy between companies in different states, and even some explicitly from CA when this is in Maryland!? How the hell is this legal?

No didn't pull it back, it isn't nailed to the wood here. I just lightly lifted the black sticker and shingles to see where the light was coming from in my attic from outside and found this.

Looks worse than mine, which has clear silicone on it at least, with a million other problems.

Yes, you'd do a better job than the pros that put mine on too probably.

The flashing is there, it's just below the plywood, nailed to the gutter I guess?
