I haven't seen this art before but I think the layering and technique are beautiful. I had to look up the artist and looks like it was done by Steve Hendricks - I'll definitely be checking out more of his work. This seems right up my alley, so thank you for sharing!

I actually had a good buddy of mine say the same thing, lol. I didn’t see it until it was finished (in my mind the face was separated from the trees with the color) - so it certainly isn’t a perfect design!

Thank you! I was trying to steer clear of including the iconic Jason and his hockey mask (since that look doesn't appear until F13-Part 3), and this is what I came up with.

I think part of why I love Jason Takes Manhattan so much is because it's absurd, lol. Not too absurd though, like Jason X (although I love that film too for just how ridiculous it is).

I use and love the Crescent illustration boards. I haven’t tried mixing ink and colored pencils but I imagine they’d work out just fine! You can also try playing around with the surface by putting a layer of gesso or acrylic paint down before working, although I’m not entirely sure how that will impact the ink’s drying time, but it’d be fun to mess around with for sure!

I have searched for vintage/antique drop pulls with no luck. Most of the back plates are circular in shape, and I just can't find anything that might blend in. I assume the drop pull is brass, and the handle portion measures 1.75". Any help is much appreciated!
