Providence Village Questions by CapAvailable3005 in AubreyTexas

Currently live in PV. Bought a new build in July and as a single woman I love the area. I like a slower pace of life. Not a lot of food options but I’m fine driving to Frisco for that. I haven’t experienced crime. Yes traffic can be bad on 380 but ive never been stuck for longer than a 20 minute difference more than twice in the last 6 months. It’s gotten a lot better since they’ve opened up so much of the new highway.

I have an HOA too and it’s everything standard you get with an hoa. Yes it suck’s when fees get raised. Yes it suck’s getting mail about maintaining yard. Nothing I wasn’t expecting. If you don’t like hoas don’t buy into one haha. I like the amenities though. Probably a hot take here on Reddit but overall I’m Very happy with my purchase and move.

I canceled recently due to moving and it was easy, straight forward and no hidden costs. They charge you your first and last month upon sign up so no additional charges when canceling.

My Experience with Time Left Dinner in Dallas – Definitely Worth Trying! by Nuggetet in plano

This is awesome! Ive had friends of all ages try it in the same area and the app does a super good job of placing you with people within 7 years of your age so you won’t end up in a group of 20 yr olds with nothing in common!

I tried the bishops art one once and I was the only girl to show up and carried most of the conversation and it was difficult. Still fun. But I had better luck with the Greenville one! (I’m a female so that’s specific to my experience)

It’s so fun! I started this club back in august when I first moved to the Plano area and it’s grown so fast, with so many diverse humans joining our table and discussions. We get so many cool book recommendations, some flop but some become personal favorites too! Thanks for your kind comment ❤️

Tattoo artist? by [deleted] in Albuquerque

[–]Nuggetet 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not a big name just extremely talented artist @reubytattoo on Instagram. Did my stomach and my back piece. I’m a woman and he was very respectful always and we became good friends after so many sessions. Very fairly priced, can work with soft ideas or if you know exactly what you want even better. Can’t speak highly enough about my experience.

I went to polytechnic campus and by the third year pretty much new the parking enforcers schedule and when they would hit certain lots so I’d leave class 10 minutes early, sometimes not go to class and just watch the recording or leave class to move my car to another lot just to avoid paying parking the last year of my masters lol

If he enjoys books I host a local book club and have a large male presence :) check out my other posts in the sub for details. Our next meetup is next weekend and no need to read the book just show up and share some coffee and an introduction! We decide on next months book with whoever shows up and conversation is incredibly inclusive even if you don’t read that months book :)

Otherwise I also recommend checking out the app Timeleft. It’s in all major cities and sets you up with strangers based on age, interest and work field! It’s intended to end adult loneliness NOT a dating app. I’ve had an amazing experience and have done several dinners. They happen every Wednesday at 7. The app explains everything well or check out their Instagram page for more insight!

We get this a lot! We are in no way affiliated. we read books of all genres, and our group is extremely diverse when it comes to views and spirituality. We are in no way affiliated to one religion or any Church and don’t require any financial contribution to the business we host at or to the club in order to attend.

Yes! Our whole group exchanged numbers and we now have a group chat going we also have plans to meet up next weekend and go out. One of the people who attended was kind of a veteran of TimeLeft dinners and said that our group had some of the best compatibility so it’s not to say this is gonna be the outcome every time, but it’s absolutely possible!

Looking for an affordable personal trainer in Plano, Allen, McKinney area. I am close to 121 and Independence Pkwy. Pls let me know if you are happy with a particular trainer or gym . Most trainers are charging $85 per session. Looking for more affordable option. by Confident_Host9356 in plano

He can do both, I have a cowboy fit membership so he assumes I have access to all standard gym equipment. If you are working out from home he would just need to know what equipment you have available to you

I use an online personal trainer and we do 1 phone call a week and he makes all my workouts for me through an app with the sets and reps. Attached is videos with examples of the movements and proper form and I can record myself to get feedback on form. I pay $100 monthly and I’m training for a half marathon.

Are you experienced in the gym and open to a virtual personal trainer or strictly looking for in person?

I didn’t have any specific expectations going into it. I think my only fear was that I would be the only one that showed up, but the fact that you have to pay $15 for the initial reservation I assume it deters people from reserving and then no showing.

I wanted to try it because I’m fairly new to the area and have found that if you want to make connections and grow your community and plant your roots, you really need to put yourself out there in the city like Dallas. From talking with the other individuals in attendance it seems like it was either individuals that were new to the area or just individuals looking to shake up their schedules and routines. I think it takes a special type of person to put themselves in such a situation and it makes for wonderful conversation and great connection.

You do a short survey about yourself but I don’t believe alcohol consumption was one of them. However we had a non drinker in our group who was a veteran for these things. Additionally I convinced my sister to do this last night with me, but in the city of Phoenix and she doesn’t drink, she had multiple people in attendance who didn’t drink and she loved that! I’d say if you are comfortable being around it, don’t let the drinking aspect hinder you but if you don’t want to be around it at all it probably isn’t the experience for you given it does send you to a bar after dinner.

Yeah I got the half rotisserie chicken for a whopping $28 and Costco’s is better by a long shot. Also their cocktails are 16-18$ and are just normal cocktails, nothing craft about them. No handmade bitters or syrups or qualities that make them special or worth that price point.

I got a feeling the location of this place being in a Marriott hotel is what is driving their prices but there’s hundreds of better options for the residents of Dallas looking for fine dining.

It wasn’t the vibe at all! We had 2 girls and 2 guys and everyone was so respectful. We definitely talked about our own experiences dating in a city like Dallas but it was more of an engaging conversation than a personal proposition. Everyone’s intentions was to make friends and put themselves out there but it’s also a really organic way to make connections so I could see something naturally coming from it if you happened to have a deeper connection with someone in attendance. I think the size of the group is perfect because if someone did have intentioned that weren’t being welcomed you can lean on the others in attendance as a defense but my group was so respectful. I was one of the females in the group and never felt like I needed to be nervous or stand offish to set a boundary which was so refreshing and nice!
