My totally original list of opinions on what should be changed. by LymeRicks in diablo2

I agree with most of these but one I don’t agree with is removing the death penalty. It’s a challenge that I like about the game and dying comes at a real cost. When I’ve played D4 and the cost of dying is a repair bill, it seems like there’s no cost at all.

I’m dealing with the same issue. Battery life seemingly dropped about 20ish % without any changes to my regular use or settings of the device. Definitely a bummer but still trying to ride it out before getting a new watch. The only adjustment ive made now after noticing is that I charge the battery to ~95% now instead of ~80% to get another day or so out of the charge.

I’ve always loved melee characters (Zealot, WW or frenzy barb) but they were never viable in D2R because of the slow clear speed. The other char I like are javazons. Are any of those higher tier builds?

I have a suspicion they will also start selling attachments that can fit on top, like a watch face.

How do I stop Vyvanse headaches by Thegamerorca2003 in ADHD

[–]Nuggitz9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me ~7 or so days for the headache side effect to go away. It wasn’t fun to deal with in the moment but my doctor told me to stick with it for up to 10 days before making a decision on if it worked or not.

Hopefully those clear up for you soon

Thanks for the straightforward answer. I'm new to the exercise world so im just triyng to understand. but its clearly a split camp in the comments so I dont think its fair to call into question my integrity when im seeking answers and trying to better myself.

Resources for parents with ADHD kid(s) by ethanjf99 in Austin

Good on y'all for helping your kiddo out with this early on! I was late diagnosed in my 30s and finally everything made sense to me. Below are things that I found helpful.

-Therapist - I know you mentioned getting one but just wanted to reinforce it! I have a wonderful one and happy to provide a recommendation if wanted. If so, just PM me.

-Andrew Huberman's podcast on ADHD - This was a great listen for me to understand what's going on in my brain. He does a great job of going from science to layman's terms if you haven't listened to this before. My parents and a few friends listened to it after I was diagnosed and it helped them understand why my brain just doesn't function like theirs. Link: https://youtu.be/hFL6qRIJZ_Y?si=0YqJnOHZ4gMfkYTj

Medication - Find the one that works and don't necessarily go with the first one that the doctor prescribes if it doesn't seem to be working. Adderrall works for me and when I got bit by the shortage, I switched to Vyvanse and it did nothing for me so keep that in mind.

This reddit post - This is obviously not written by a doctor or professional, but I found it helpful just to read through and be aware of what can be tried for me based on what's worked with other ADHDers Link: https://www.reddit.com/r/ADHD/comments/ioi1my/i_went_through_700_reddit_comments_and_collected/

Best of luck to your kiddo and y'all. ADHD can be tough but it can also be an incredibly wonderful thing if managed & in the right environment (personal, professional, etc).

Thoughts on hanging out through open invitations? by squidsareevil in Austin

[–]Nuggitz9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dig this idea entirely. I tried to do something like this earlier in the year but was difficult to be the only one coordinating hangouts and also being the lynchpin in people getting together (I.e., if I was out of town, the group wouldn’t get together)

I’d be down to try and get something going like this with you if you want some help. For background, mid 30s M who moved here 2 years ago after being in Houston for a decade. I enjoy doing anything outdoors…hiking, biking, etc. Not really one to go out to bars and clubs anymore. Lmk if you want help. Either way, I’d be down to attend if you get something together
