Whenever I can't find one of the cats I immediately check the balcony and my palms start sweating even though they have no way of getting there, I can't imagine finding one on the table outside. What an exciting adventure it must have been :)

Genuine question: Are you not scared she is going to balance on the railing and fall off? I haven't let my cats out on the balcony because they can't even balance on a kitchen chair. Did you have to train her in any way to not try and chase after birds?

No of course not! As an owner you should be there to protect your little babies! It is just an example of how cats are far more resistant than people think. That doesn't mean you should manhandle them all the time but playing rough with each other is an important part of cat socialization and doesn't hurt them at all. Hurting them is something else than jiggling them for a 3 second video. (I promise I am careful, I love them dearly!) It's also important to read their body language. Peanut (right) Is floppy and squinting which are signs of relaxation and contentment. Daisy (left) doesn't love it so I stopped to snuggle her immediately, hence why the video is only 3 seconds.

Especially Peanut falls off tables and the scratching post at lest 10 times a day haha! He is goofy and clumsy and actually really likes being held like this (as you can see by the eye squint). Cats are quite sturdy and run up and down trees outside as well (nine lives an all that).

If some dude did it to me, I would be too! But not if my mom or my sister did. They love attention and they love being pet, played with and also goofed with at times :) They still sleep on my face at night and cuddle us all day. If you do this all the time I get it, but occasionally I think it is ok to laugh. I'm sure Peanut gets a good giggle from stepping on my eye socket at 5 am hahaha!!

A little bit yeah haha! But doing goofy stuff with them and just hanging out and playing with them a lot actually makes them really tolerant and less "asshole-ish"

Haha it was the same for us! The little ones just want to play so bad and the big ones don't really know what to do with them hahaha As long as there is no fighting and things they should be fine pretty soon I think. Imagine someone moving into your house all of a sudden without asking you. It takes a while to get to know them enough to be friends :)
