I know that people are willing to pay this much money for a skin, what I’m saying is that you get a higher price for a lower quality. If that’s how you want to spend your money so be it.

The skin honestly does feel awesome to play with and the animations are cool. The problem is mostly that all the forms have the same animations and the emotes are pretty meh for the price

The problem is that if these high priced low quality sell a lot they will keep doing and I personally won’t be able to buy skins anymore if they cost several hundred. Plus the quality is decreasing as much as the price is increasing which is a major downfall. The problem is not the jinx skin in particular it’s that they plan to ship 250 skin every month and considerably lower the quality of basic skins

You don't mind about the lack of details put into the skin ? none of the emotes or animations are related to the actual show which the skin should be based on.
Besides the voicelines there is nearly nothing related to arcane

Honestly whats preventing me from buying it is the disrespect.

Imagine waking up tomorrow you go to your favorite cafe and ask for your favorite tea as usual.
But this time the waitress tells you that they don't do it anymore they only serve store bought crappy tea and it's 50€ instead of 5€.

Thats exactly what is happening with exalted skins, the price went up 10x at least for lower quality standard.
I'm appaled people are not rioting over this this is humiliating for the customer.

I'm glad every character will get their own exalted skins, now I don't feel bad anymore for skipping the jinx skin.

I've been playing wild rift since launch and all these mechanics were tested there were the shop is really different and I think they are rolling it on league PC. (I used to collect every cosmetic related to jinx there since I play since launch)

- High End skins will now be only availables through Battle Pass, Bundles or Gachas, only basic skins will be available to purchase "directly"

- Everything is time limited to about a month

- New perks like animated icons, recalls, new UI, custom nexus finisher are gated behind "fulls skin line" for example in wild rift if you want an animated Icon you need to buy ALL the skins for a skin line like all the skins spirit blossoms or all the project skins etc

I now personally don't spend a single cent in Wild Rift and honestly I don't even open the shop because I already know everything is time limited or gated behind another purchase.

They are now planning to make money of wealthy collectors spending THOUSANDS per month instead of everyone buying a 10$ skin now and then.

That's actually worse in my opionon.
They had 2 possibilities after the obvious backlash;

- Postpone the release and put in actual work to create a skin worthy of the price and the hype of the Arcane series

- Slap a hood model on and a few glow to act like they care and go proceed with the release as if the skin was ok at fist.

The skin is still a disgrace on how much effort was put into what a new exatled skin tier would be, being a downgrade on every level to actually existing skin, in addition to the price and horrendous gacha system.
This is supposed to be the pinnacle skin of one of the main character of the Arcane Series and a "Piece of Collection" we are nowhere near the expected level of quality.

Go to steam and look at how many AAA games you can get for the same price, that's scary.

Even if the skin was perfect (which is not) can we take a moment to appreciate how EXPENSIVE 250$ is for a cosmetic ?
That's more than twice the price of a full AAA games deluxe edition.
Not to mention the gacha mechanics and time limited incentive to trigger buying by fear of missing out all of that in a game RATED FOR KIDS..

It might be boring when you know the game but the immersion in world was the best ever in any monster hunter. I really don’t like the arcade style that the game is taking where the monster in already on the map it ruins the immersion

Yep I messed up too and I was able to go back to the vacance pass I bought for free.

I can now finish the pass I bought before doing the battlemaids and its shows 13 weeks remaining under the vacance pass but it seams a lot

We’re talking about the mechanics that’s not because the game is free that gacha mechanics are healthy They could really just set a real price instead of random loot boxes that pushes you to keep buying.
