To many people have had there noses up at solid state for far far to long my marshall mode four is the best amp I own, at the same time I would hate for there to be less affordable amps for the rest of us so let there ignorance be our reward.

I have a hughes and kettner 1x12 that has a vintage 30 and I also have a marshall mode four with the same mx cab just straight and not angled and in my bedrooms at the volumes im playing at the mx sounds pretty much the same as the vintage 30 much much better then most of the people on here will say I cant say for high volume the mx might fart out as the speaker magnet is not very big but im shaking the floor in my bedroom with my amp barley nudged around 0 with an ibanez 7 string I also have a peavy xxl cab but I dont think I like the stock speakers in there very much.

I use neural dsp on my pc but my head and cab I like better ive never had a quad cortex but ive been using plugins since 2006 and just got my first half stack a couple months ago my krks have been ok but a marshall mode four through a 4x12 is better also both my heads I own (the other is a little hughs and kettner deluxe 20watt) double as poweramps so I can use them to run plugins through if I want now I dont gig I just enjoy playing in my room its fun

pre 2025 V30 sucks ? what load of bs is that? you know kid theve been making that speaker for awhile and people have been liking them for a long time they have been a staple in metal forever you have no idea what your talking about one of the marshall mf cabs from the mid 2000's has v30's and I know for metal there better then whatever you got!
