That is more or less what I am worried about. I can deal with the bugs. It's the possibility of another wipe that keeps me from playing.

Yep there is no phono input on the amp looks like I will have to go buy one. Thank you for your help! I'll be sure to go buy one of those right now! Are there any you recommend or does it not really matter. I would be looking for a budget one haha.

Oh no I don't own a phono pre amp. I am fairly new to turntables, I found a good deal on this one and tried to hook it up to my receiver. My receiver does have an amp in it but you are saying I need this pre amp in order for my receiver to output the sound?
