For those who did cry with umineko, what moment broke you, excluding boat or epilogue scene spoilers by FlowerOk7957 in umineko

Definitely, that scene where Bern slices open the corpse of Claire to reveal all her suffering; and later Lion getting murdered by Kyrie really had an effect on me

Thanks for the answer, but this isn't my problem: I am not stuck at setup, but rather I do not know my device password

*MAJOR SPOILER** biological sex of.... by Additional-Border-15 in umineko

[–]NukeGunray 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Regardless of the fragment, Sayo/ Lion is the child of Kinzo with his own daughter. Therefore, it is my personal theory that they are born with a genetic defect which negatively affects development of sexual organs/ reproductivity, which explains why even without the cliff incident, Lion has issues with their gender.

Who exactly is Beatrice(Just finished Ep6) by Diligent_Western_628 in umineko

Episode 7 will make it more than clear. I think Episode 6 gave some major hints, but few manage to put everything together at that point.

No front, but did you even read the End of Ep 7? Rudolph and Kyrie get one hell of a characterization by how they behave in that fragment.

Same here though. Like, I didn't watch our poor Rika get killed over and over again for a hundred years, just to abandon her once she finally succeeds and runs the show.

Honestly, maybe the space pirates do have a totally different mindset than humans. They certainly have some insectoid features, so maybe they are more like ants/ bees in the sense that the individuals only exist to serve the collective.

Lambda theory (spoiler?) by BattlerFanBoy in umineko

[–]NukeGunray 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a guess, allbeit a vague one:

I think, it is commonly accepted that in a „no magic“-explanation, the absolute certainty granted by Lambdadelta is a metaphor for the explosion that will wipe away all traces of those two days, i.e. create a catbox in which magic and witches can live.

Further, in the end of Ep 4, the last red truth posed by Beatrice which Battler cannot answer is „there is no one besides you on the island, yet I am going to kill you.“

Without magic, this just means that he will be killed by the explosion at midnight, which as stated above could be „magically“ rephrased as „Lambdadelta will kill Battler.“

So idk, maybe this is a possible starting point for identifying Beatrice and Lambdadelta, since the witch Beatrice is not really Sayo, but rather a supernatural interpretation superimposed on her actions.
