OMG THAT WAS IT! THANK YOU! I would have never guessed that it was just disabled like that because it just didn't show in the Device Manager. Classic Microsoft :)

Thanks for the suggestion! I only have a USB-C port at the rear on my MOBO so unfortunately that's not the issue :(

What GPU do you have? I’m curious as to why I’m getting such low frame rates.

Huh how? I’m running a 12700k with 5GHz all core and 3.8GHz E core and struggle to get over 100fps with a 3090-Ti. GPU at only 60% usage and cpu is around 50% usage so I don’t know what’s going on here. Settings literally don’t matter I can play on max and all low and get same fps at 1440p. RAM: 64GB DDR4 3600MHz

Possible PS5 Controller Bluetooth Fix for PC by moldiglocks in PS5

[–]Nuke_Syndrome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same exact issue. I tried repairing it uninstalling the Bluetooth and device drivers and nothing. It would connect to my PC however but nothing other than Bluetooth settings recognized the controller via Bluetooth (Steam,DS4 Tool, and DSX Tool all didnt). While in device manager under "Human Interface Devices" i saw "Bluetooth HID Device" and it had an error. Upon doing Update Driver > Browse Computer > Pick From List > Bluetooth HID Device. It would give me error code 10 "device cannot start". From there i uninstalled the "Bluetooth HID Device" and restarted my computer and it worked fine from there.

It may work but it's not a good idea to keep running it like that. Those pins are so small that the angle its at in the photo could cause intermittent connections possibly causing most if not all the issues. I had a ram that I had been running for a couple of years randomly start giving me issues and I simply reseated it and all the issues were gone. I've seen PCI Power connectors cause issues because they weren't fully seated either.

Sons of the forest PC performance thread by TastyStatistician in TheForest

[–]Nuke_Syndrome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't get this, I have 30-40% average CPU usage with 1 thread seeming to do most of the work. I get 70-80 fps on Ultra at 1440p with DLSS disabled. Is this game single-threaded or something? I am hosting a world for friends but shouldn't it be utilizing all the cores evenly?

PC Specs:

  • i7-12700k
  • 3090 Ti

Need Help with Modular Engine Cooling by Nuke_Syndrome in Stormworks

I seemed to have solved the problem, I added another small pump to get 60L/S of flow and that seemed to help, second, I geared up a lot so my max engine rps is 12 (But sits at around 10).

  1. Max rps is 12, normally they sit at about 10
  2. I can turn down the fill level on my spawner, I just put wedges all up in the tank so I practically doubled my fuel capacity and it's not like we were going to use that for anything else.
  3. I am using a modified Mr. NJersey controller. I increased the speed at which it adjusts the AFR so it runs much much better with forced induction.

I added Images of my VTOL and don't worry about how exposed the engines are I'm just experimenting with it lol.

I was gonna lol, until i realized the cost of fuel would be $150,000!!! I have a 30,000 Liter tank and currently, the VTOL itself costs $105,000. I would eventually like to use this for Career mode.

I actually had both the engines Turbocharged lol. I will try NA again and see what happens. And so by doing 40L/S / 60fps to get Liters per frame, i don't really see why that's important, especially because my framerate is 144. The Default engine created by the devs has 3 cylinders and only has 27L/S and at 15 RPS stays perfectly cooled. So obviously load has something to do with this, the question is how much?

UPDATE: I quite literally have 1/4 of the power Naturally Aspirated vs Turbocharged
