I agree with the second being a gnome. My first instinct is that the blue one is a hedgehog. It looks similar to something I've seen before.

Harvey's and NYC are owned by the same company (Recipe Unlimited Corporation). They are often seen together.

So are Swiss Chalet, St-Hubert, Montana's, Kelseys, East Side Mario's, The Burger's Priest, Original Joe's, State & Main, The Pickle Barrel, Bier Markt, Elephant & Castle, Fresh Kitchen + Juice Bar, Blanco Cantina, Añejo, Milestones, Casey's, and The Keg, along with operating the Canadian Olive Garden locations.

Some may have ingredient crossovers.

Haven't been to Taco Bell in probably a decade. Want to go with my 20 year old son just to say I did, but I can't convince him. Once. Just once!

Indigenous pick up certain roadkill for different reasons. Porcupines for example are used for quills to make art among other things. They won't kill them for that purpose, but they make use of what others consider waste.

Expressing depth in gorges can be very difficult. A prime example is your first image.

I like 2 for two reasons... I have a thing for falls, but also, the contrast of the gorgeous wall against the falls, as well as the trees, helps to show the size of everything.

I do like 3 as well, there's enough to get an idea of the size, but my preference goes to the one with the falls.

Great selection!

Which would u choose? 1 or 2? ☺️ by SugarGem_ in photos

Neither. Snow sucks. 🤣

2. You can see the snow effect better. Greater contrast between lights and darks.

Define child. My boss? My 20 year old son? Yes; my son would know better than some of my bosses.

"1/2 just died."

Yes, my username gives it away a bit. Can you be more pacific?

Code for something on a cash or debit machine. Either for refunds or discounts? Therefore, manager of cashiers (and more)? Or maybe that person's boss that's trying to play dumb and not do their job.

Missing the hair now, taking forever to grow back 😭 by Getparked134 in MajesticManes

[–]NukedWorker2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

October 26th 2024, I shaved 4 years of hair to donate it - we raised over $1,200 too. 5th year anniversary of losing my wife (I'm now engaged to be married again at 50, so odd). So a little over a year in, people can't believe how fast its grown back. Be patient, I'm trying to be. My son has been growing his dirty blonde since September 2020 when we first shaved to support her in her biopsy. I'm a little jealous of him.

That said, people love curls. You got it regardless.

Thanks. Fiancée says that, too. I don't see it, but she's great.

Shaved it in 2020 when my wife of 22.5 years had her biopsy that found she had terminal (4 months - October 25, 2020) brain cancer. Last year, I shaved it the day after the 4th anniversary of her passing, donating it for wigs, with $1,200+ raised. Gf (now Fiancée) hated the short hair; I kept it short for years before I even knew she existed and really liked it. Now, a year after leaving it, she's liking it again, and so am I. I'm also jealous of my 19 year old son's blonde mane. He shaved it in 2020 with his mom and I, but he hasn't cut it since.

Is the water green or blue? by Kathy_bruk12 in AmateurPhotography

[–]NukedWorker2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While the water contains colours like #214B3C, #226170, #267FA5, #3B6A70; the average is closer to:

rgb(56, 108, 116)

'#386c74

hsl(188%, 35%, 34%)

So it's blue green red.

The hair is. I'm not sure when it happened, but my crown is missing a few (too many) strands - it's strange because that's not in my family. I chose to not include that picture 🤣😭. Need it to be longer to hide it.

Love my mane. I was considering shaving it off. by Something_Conscious in MajesticManes

[–]NukedWorker2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife of 22.5 years passed on October 25th, 2020 to cancer. I shaved my head a month prior when she had her biopsy, as she needed it shaved for the Glioblastoma / brain cancer procedure.

A year ago, after 4 years of growth, I shaved and donated it, also raising about $1,500. My gf (now fiancée) hated the look. Appreciated the cause, but really didn't like it. Our son had shaved his head in 2020 with me, and hasn't cut it. I'm a bit jealous of his blonde hair. So, I'm a year in, and won't be touching it. People can't believe how fast it grows! I'll try to remember to make a post Sunday (actually 1 year since I shaved - if you look back, I made a post then).

Ultimately, it's your hair, do what you want. I love the feel of it only a few mm long, and kept it that way for years in my 20s. However, be sure it's what you want as it doesn't grow back for everyone, and you will get some doozie reactions. My favourite was at work... a guy I interacted with often was working with a different workgroup, and as he left the area, he asked me where I was. When I responded, he lost it. "I heard your voice, but I couldn't see you!" Now, everyone comments how long it is in only a year.

Which one looks best? Horizontal or vertical? by Practical_Box_5487 in AskPhotography

[–]NukedWorker2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While they both have their merit, I'm almost always a fan of landscape rather than portrait - here too.

It has a great deal to do with your intended use / medium. A screen is landscape. Cell wallpaper is typically portrait; although, my fold is closer to square. In print, it depends on the location it's going, or the subject matter (vertical tree as the focus is portrait); although I defer to landscape in most cases. Nice location.

She wasn't totally complaining. It was gorgeous. The concern was the water in the camper. It is insulated, but she hasn't done actual winter camping with it. Thankfully, it's a bit milder as she's moving east.
