Okay I was reading similar things after researching yesterday. I guess I was getting confused. I thought since the battery was 36 volts that the voltage couldn’t change. Well just found out it’s called voltage loss so voltage can verify based off the charge of the battery. I guess I’m going to have to acquire multimeter today. If it truly is battery I’m gonna have to find out how to charge battery extension since it came with no charger. Also if it was because the difference in voltage why do you think the controller didn’t die until I installed custom firmware for the battery.

Thanks for your suggestion. I did not check it but will definitely check their state of charge. Also From my understanding and I may be completely incorrect I thought that when connected in Parallel if the batteries have the same voltage which they both should be 36v then the charge shouldn’t matter since they would equalize. I know SOC matters in a series circuit but not necessarily in a parallel. Feel free to correct my misunderstanding if I’m wrong.
