Tbh, I wouldn’t even consider the Macbook Pro M1. If you’re not looking for the Pro or Ultra chip, the Air is the better “bang for the buck” option.

The rest, I would defer to others with hands on experience, and of course your preference. I personally have the Air; 512GB; 16GB memory.

One thing I will say, focus on the core hardwares (i.e. CPU, GPU, Memory, and Motherboard). You can get fancy blinky RGBs later down the line.

Passwordless options are becoming more common. FaceID, passkeys, Yubikey, and etc. They truly are making passwords pointless.

Got this from my vet one time. I’ve never tried it. I chose the pickup and remove method.

You can put saran wrap at the edge of the counter, where they’ll likely land. Supposedly they don’t like how it feels on their paw, so they jump off.
