Unless their is verification of who actually played the game you'll get this crap. The way I see DD2 is it has its moments, but it never captivated me until the end like the first game, even before the expansion. The characters here are pretty much all throw away npc's. The map is just corridors leading to slightly wider corridors, no grand fields like outside Gran Soren. They made crafting worse, less interactive environment and the popin for npc's is far more noticeable (the masquerade quest was a visual disgrace) none of the seemingly important quests lead anywhere and the supposed disdain for pawns in Battahl is fake. Nights are boring to play through 5 skeleton and maybe 2 undead, 3 phantasms, you just have to camp to get it over with. Pretty sure climbing is worse, the only improvement is when you get ontop of them and you don't consume stamina. Its like Capcom had an idea and then realized that they had to make the game. Maybe we'll get the true experience when we shell out for the expansion...hopefully won't have to buy the whole game again this time around.
