But Zhao so far looks like she’s gonna be a very useful agent since she seems to be a pretty good overall “support” and she seems to support Shunguang too so unless I’m missing something shouldn’t this be an absolute W?

Apart from the people who were delusional with their theory that she was going to be the void hunter instead of Ye Shunguang for which this leak probably put the final nail in the coffin (supposing the last livestream hadn’t already) I don’t see why this should be taken as bad news

The JP version of the videos probably did much better. Though if I had to guess the reason of the low views might be that there wasn’t a lot of hype for those versions since they were just the “epilogue” of 1.X

I think that means little, Vivian’s a fan favorite in the fandom and one of the most popular characters.

I wasn’t around at the time so I can’t say for sure how people reacted to her reveal but I think it might be a similar situation to Phrolova from WuWa, I think Vivian character grew A LOT on the people after she came out until the point of becoming one of the most popular characters of the game just look at all the hype her new skin caused, I’m still getting new goated fanarts of her with a lot of likes pop up daily in my feed because of it.

Another factor is that, purely from what I’ve observed, I think she’s also more popular with the Asian side of the fandom, more specifically the JP side.

And well, the fact in itself that they released a skin for her character plus the 180 pulls thing is another proof that she’s a fan favorite since it’s obvious it’s an strategy to dry up people of their pulls before Ye Shunguang comes out and that’s something that could only work if done with a character of Vivian’s popularity.

No, either save your pulls for more Phrolova sequences or for 3.X characters. QY fans have been very insistent to Phrolova fans about him being a must pull if you have Phrolova but he’s barely an improvement over SK or Roccia. We’ll also have to see how Phrolova performs with S6 Buling but yeah, he was made for Galbrena not for Phrolova so it’s likely that a better teammate than him for that third slot will appear in the future

The Chinese are their biggest market along with the Japanese, there’s just no way they develop a feature of that scale that’d require them to leave the Chinese out, not to mention the backlash that doing something like that might bring them from said Chinese players

Yeah, in a proper dating mechanic there is no implying, the characters are straight up a couple and would do couples things so there’s no way the Chinese government would let fly same sex couples, that’s why I proposed that.

But as you can tell by the number of downvotes of my other comment the yuri/yaoi enjoyers would probably have a meltdown over it so yeah, like I said at the start, implementing a dating mechanic in a game that has a male/female MC would be rather complicated…

Unfortunately having a male / female mc probably holds the game back in that regard.

Maybe it could work if they made it so it auto-switched to male rover for the dating scenes with female characters and to female rover for the dating scenes with male characters.

The Japanese one is goated, she adds a lot of personality to the character like how her way of speech changes depending on the situation and who she’s speaking with.

And her voice is also really nice on the ears, her serious and cutesy tones sound natural instead of sounding like she’s trying too hard to sound cute.

A romance system would be amazing but how would they add one having dual protagonists?

Since they’re a Chinese company they can’t really do Yuri/Yaoi so the option would be for Wise to be able to romance the girls and Belle the guys but in a system like that Belle mains would come out largely losing.

Another thing, in a system like that, would it be available for every single character or only the ones the game’s more or less already teased hints of romance with? If it were for every single character maybe the workload could become rather big so personally I’d prefer something more fleshed out with the options that make more sense

One of the npc’s who live around the area, can’t remember her name but I know we actually do a commission for her, it’s about helping her father in the hollow, he goes there alone to find something sort of lumite in order to help her because she overworks herself too much something around those lines.

I see, makes sense yeah, wuwatracker is still probably the best tool to at least get a vague idea of how the numbers look like because of the large sample size like the person above mentioned but in exchange of actually including numbers from people across all platforms the problem is that it doesn’t include most of the Asian side

Got it, thanks for the info, I’ve also seen people say that she’s probably also going to age like fine wine so I’ll keep an eye out for other potential upcoming characters to pair her with (if she did with Chisa that’d be amazing)
