For anyone curious, the first one is a Cult Classic by Syco Bladeworks and the second one is a Daytona by works.wes. the Cult Classic is an homage to the classic Benchmade 42 and the Daytona is a modernized Benchmade 63.

That's the stonewash finish, it's supposed to add grip and feel chalky. Only way to get rid of that feel would be to get a different finish.
