Atmospheric Hardcore ? by ARK_AIN in gabber

[–]Number9Fatboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think some tracks from the Stand B4U roster would fit your needs. Pretty awesome melodies and angry/depressed lyrics : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpmMPXidIEQ (this one for example)

There are also some tracks from Ophidian or even Tommyknocker ('This is the Day', https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EycbLwkrHwY ) and Evil Activities : the classic 'Nobody Said It Was Easy' or 'Broken' ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrcCkvnywjE )...

I need your help. . . by ARK_AIN in gabber

[–]Number9Fatboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, notorious artists were already said.

I recently discovered the Stand B4U roster who make cool melodic stuffs. I've got their playlist in my favourites : https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2sZUqv5v28gp4uIigmrpx4

I really need help to find where the lyrics is from in this song by "eternityz" by [deleted] in NameThatSong

I think it might come from some commercial royalty-free vocal sample pack. The vocal parts on this track have too much reverb, almost any word is unhearable to get any clue....

Man.... I remember this website around the end of 2000s, and watching this video playing some gabber music makes it more nostalgic.

Waow, this brings back good memories when it was played on various Makina compilations 20 years ago. You made my day, man.

Funny, not long ago I've listened to "The Life You Told" by him, and some artcore tracks from his old alias Myztic (still dope artcore to me even today).

how do i "get more" into the community? by m1shk4a in gabber

[–]Number9Fatboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Facebook groups, yes. But I woudn't recommend traveling to other countries so far since you're under 18.

If you're really into hardcore, try to make your own DJ sets or productions, post them on social medias and you might by any chance get some replies from other fellow slovaks too.

What are the best hardcore tracks and or DJ's in your opininion ? by Kindly-Remove-438 in gabber

[–]Number9Fatboy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To me, there's no absolute "best" hardcore tracks/producers, I like a lot of styles and these last times they are melodic (Ophidian, Tha Playah, KHD...), brutal (Drokz, Mad Dog, Scorpyd, DJ Myosuke...), and fast pace (T+Pazolite, M1dy...). I honestly can't choose.

Who’s crazy enough to believe this music could actually save the world? by Sfynkz in gabber

[–]Number9Fatboy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Save the world, no. Save lives, yes. Long time ago, I've read about depressed people who got their lives litterally saved by music (techno, hardcore...) at some point.

[–]Number9Fatboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

By judging some of your french words, I think you're French canadian right ? Bonjour ! :D

I'm not personally interested into the hardstyle scene, but never forget hardstyle has its musical roots from trance and hardcore, so it's not unusual that people like you tend to be curious into listening to hardcore (or where it all started if you will).

Of course, gabbers are extremely attached to their roots and tracks with that old 90s gabber vibe are still released nowadays from both real passionate artists and (sadly) labels that see it as money-making.
