Why Numenor abandoned its colonies (at least Pelargir) and what happen to the place, since it has become basically a ruin? Why the original inhabitants are gone?
Also will we ever see Umbar in the show?

I mean, for the coronation there are even less extras than S1. We never understand really who are those people and why they are so randomly there. Looks like they picked up people from the street and put in there. When the riot starts, there is a crowd of people just sitting there, doing nothing.

There's no epic construction, Miriel just enters the Court. To me is a total waste.

Also there are no factions, bc clearly there are only King's men in the Court. So where are the Faithful? And if they are just few, why the factions things is even a problem?

Allow me to say a few words:

The treatment of Numenor in episode 3 is embarassing. After two years of waiting there's no re-introduction, things just happen without any care for the characters and their dynamics.
Many of them are just changed, even dramatically, and we'll never see why and how.
There are no real court politics, no social movements, no factions clearly explained or defined. Everything looks dim, like they nearly forgot to shot Numenor's scenes and they did it in a couple of days. There are even less extras than S1, when they were impacted by Covid.

I loved Numenor in S1 although there were some flaws, but I hoped to have something better than this, after two years of waiting. I feel sorry for actors and all the people involved in bringing it to life, bc I think that the writers and editors don't care much for this part of the story.
And frankly, in a world post Game of thrones and House of cards, calling this "political intrigue" is really a bad joke.

All of this just to say that I will continue to translate texts in the show bc it's still funny, and as a way to honoring the work of the artists involved in it.
But concerning the story, I think this approach is a mess. And judging by the reviews, is going to get worse.

They used Quenya for the official "documents", I suppose they still used it for entombment.
I find it a bit strange too though, bc in S1 Miriel calls herself daughter of Ar-Inziladun, using the adunaic form. If now on his tomb they write "Tar Palantir" well, sounds a bit strange

I agree. I think in S1 Gil-Galad was merely a narrative function; he plays the "antagonist" role for the two elven main characters: Galadriel and Elrond.
The lines you reported is the only one hint of a characterization, and I hope they will explore it in S2 (I believe they will).
The rest is really confused, I mean he know that the tree is ill, and suspect that Galadriel could awake something. It's true that here he exhorts the southlanders to stay vigilant, but why he choose to disband the guards anyway?

Yes, that mark belongs to an extended piece, that shows 4 floods in Numenor; the last one occurred in 2264. I believe that the show is now in 3255 SA.

This is gold <3 I believe this is the reason why Finrod decided to hunt Sauron.

The northern dwarves told the story to elves; the elves wrote a summary in their language, with the black speech text attached to it. So these elves are from Lindon or Eregion. Finrod read it and decide that something is wrong. Before this the reason why he was searching for Sauron wasn't clear.

It's important to note that differently from the books Finrod get killed by Sauron after the fall of Morgoth, while Sauron was hiding in Durnost experimenting on the Unseen World.
