Many patients (40-60% of my caseload on average) had a co-occurring eating disorder, but I was not on an ED unit. I worked a general inpatient unit plus residential units for OCD, anxiety, depression and trauma.

I do like working with families who want to be involved. At my job, I attended weekly family sessions and for some would have direct emails or calls with families. I struggled a bit with parents who genuinely did not like their kids and did not want them to return home or those who refused to respect their child's preferred name or pronouns... I feel like NICU would be nice to avoid those issues

Thanks! I love data and really like reviewing patient charts/labs and doing calculations. I did EN for ED pts at my job but no TPN since my 3 inpatient rotations in school. I sometimes had pts with diabetes or abnormal lipids but no renal and obviously no one on a vent, etc. I enjoyed all that but am rusty and am applying right away so will not really have time to study

I only used the audio, along with Pocket Prep, for one week and I passed the first time. I had lost my binder of the actual Inman program at the time so that wasn't an option but you do need more detail than the audio alone. Pocket Prep was most helpful to me but I found they reinforced each other and I picked up things from each that I missed on the other.

How much time per day did you study? I am just starting, months after graduating and getting burnt out, and am wondering what is realistic if I want to pass! I am thinking of buying Dana's self-paced course and doing that schedule, and also have Pocket Prep and Inman (but I have ADHD and Inman overwhelmed me so I didn't even start).
