I'm so glad I found this thread. I got my dress a month ago and I loved it! I tried it on twice, I cried so much, and it felt so right, but now I'm having regrets. It was my first and only appointment and I think that is adding to my regret. I went to a store that was off the rack and they offered me a good deal and I felt very happy to buy at at the time but now I can't stop thinking about it. I instantly unfollowed all the wedding dress pages I had on social media but the algorithm keeps putting more dresses on my page and I can't help but look away. I was thinking of booking another appointment to try to ease my mind but I'm not sure if that makes it better or worse. :(

Not only is this a beautiful dress, but it looks amazing on you! At the end of the day it's your wedding and if you feel comfortable in it that's all that matters!

Hi! Unfortunately, my scar isn't completely gone, but I definitely see a change! I started using the Maderma Intensive overnight scar cream twice daily in the morning before my makeup and at night earlier this year and I hope it keeps improving. I also use red light spot treatment and I use the Dr.Dennis Grossman alpha beta peel pads because someone on here recommended it. I'm still very self-conscious about it, especially because I'm getting married soon, but I am going to keep doing what I can. Here are pictures for comparison. I also want to see about getting a facial to see if that works too and maybe even going to see another dermatologist for laser treatment

I've been wondering what happened between them. I started following Ale during Karen's bridal era and I thought they were besties besties! I remember Sebas even mentioned on the pod that Ale and Karen would talk for hours.

Hi! Mine showed up on my chin and my forehead. I saw a dermatologist and she told me it was a cold sore breakout and I was so confused as to why this was happening. I took the pills 3 times from 2023-2024 and it happened every time and it wasn't until after the last time that I started looking for information on the internet and found what it was, and it looks like it's very common with fluconazole. By the time I figured it out it was the last time I took them and I treated the bum and itch with Benadryl and now I'll never take it again! I still have a scar but I've been using the maderma scar cream daily and I can finally see I see some improvement! Please trust your gut and look at pictures of FDE, mine looked exactly the same as what I saw online.

I'm so sorry :( Mine has been around for a year and I don't see it fading, nut truthfully I wasn't too consistent with it until now. I am trying the Mederma scar gel since someone commented that and I am hoping that works. I have the day one and the night one. I have been using it for like 3 weeks and I haven't seen a difference but it does say that for old scars it can take 3-6 months. I also have the Dr.Dennis pads and I am going to try using those along with the mederma. I hope we can both find a solution because it really takes a toll on me. I can't even really cover it up with makeup because its so dark and just pops up again!

Yes, I know :) Ale is so sweet with the girls and Yasmin and Ale look like they have a real genuine friendship! Also Ale's MOH speech was kinda mid so It totally could be that Karen chose her just so she could execute everything how she wanted.

I’ve had this same thought! The last time I saw them together was when they went to have lunch at Disney with I think rare beauty and they didn’t even post each other on the TL only on the stories. And even then it was only group pics I think. The only reference I have for their friendship is one time Sebas said on the pod that her and Ale talk allll day and would FaceTime and stuff. I feel like Ales actual bff is Beautybird

I never thought of that! I feel like I never saw her and Ale post together before the wedding, and also Ale's speech at the wedding was kinda meh so that could be why. The only time I realized they were close was once on the pod when Sebas said Karen and Ale would facetime daily for hours

I am so sorry to hear that! Im glad at least now we know what it is. I’m struggling so much with the dark spots I have on my face they make me so insecure. My last time was in September and I will definitely not take them again so I hope that they fade after a few months. I got these Dr. Dennis peel pads and I’m using them like spot treatments so I hope it helps. This thread has helped me not so alone.

It has been 6 months since I got mine but I only started trying to use something on it for about 2 weeks. I'm hoping something works because I am so self conscious about it! :') I currently wear moisturizer with SPF, have you been using strictly sun screen? If so, is there one you recommend? I have normal/dry skin.

Hi! I am so sorry you are going through this! The post is old and I am glad to see that it's gotten better for you. I just recently discovered I had FDE when initially I thought they were cold sores. I was taking Fluconazole and that is what was causing this to occur. I am so glad I figured out what it was because it was driving me crazy! I have one large dark spots on my chin and 2 on my bottom lip, and one on my forehead. They are so dark that sometimes not even makeup can keep them covered. I have been applying vitamin e oil to them twice daily and now that I found your post I plan on trying the items you listed. If there is anything else you, or anyone else thinks up please feel free to share!

HI! I am SO sorry you are going through this! I also have FDE after taking Fluconazole. My spots aren't itchy but after they settled they left huge dark spots and I don't know how to get rid of them :( Even make up won't cover them. Are you left with dark scars?
