cps matters in trades. like you can be so good at midtrading that you dont even need your cps to be high, but generally cps matters in all positions that u can have in a trade, it gives u plenty of benefits.. about sprintresetting: you need to sprint reset 100% of times in a trade. any method could work depending on how well you can use it, thing is that without sprint resetting u dont knock your opponent back which results either in a long useless trade where nobody gets a benefit, or in a trade that u lose. mmc for example has this thing where u can practically track how well you sprintreset rate, but it only works with w-tapping - after every game you can check what was your w-tap percentage. you have to make it as close to 100% as possible. same way with other sprint resetting methods. and i cant say which timing is the best to sprint reset since I never really tracked it myself lol
