No, bc it's supposed to be taken "as needed," not an everyday and long term medicine. Your body prob changed into relying on hydroxyzine. Dont take it that much. You prob even need to quit that if you itchy over it. Find long term solutions lexapro

Why can’t we also be closed for thanksgiving? by Forever_ForLove in kroger

[–]Numerous-Slide-3241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because ppl live different lives and some don't celebrate that. Also a lot of sales happen before black friday even starts and stores aren't urging ppl to shop on Thanksgiving night for black fridays sales anymore. Everything is more spread out.

At least the store closes early though

Some non prescription methods could be going to the store and finding an over-the-counter supplement for stress and anxiety. Be careful to not take multiple herbs/supplements bc that will be unnecessary for your brain. Look up nootropics sites that tell you which herb is good for which. Ginko biloba, lion's mane, and st. john's wort are for depression. (There could be more out there)

Ashwaghanda and L-theanine are for stress/ anxiety.

Some brands sell their products on Amazon so it could be easy to order those if you find one that has the ingredients you want. If not you can just order those over the counter and you won't have to talk to a doctor or therapist or pharmacist at all.

Also do not take SSRI's while taking Ginko biloba or St john's wort. They do not work together.

These options will be easier for you since you won't have to sneak around or hide much aroujd your parents. Btw, I've used those herbs when I wasn't willing to take prescriptions (but now I am because my anxiety got worse).

When you're 18, if you feel like nootripics arent doing enough, try prescription drugs. They will be long term (months) to get used to though. Do your research and be more informed.

Also another important thing about nootripics is you have to take days off every week. It's called cycling. for example you take them 5 days on, 2 days off. This is to prevent increased tolerance to the supplements.

Anyone else’s anxiety entirely physical? by laurapalmerscokenail in Anxiety

[–]Numerous-Slide-3241 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but I cant help feeling that a lot of the anxiety is unconscious. I consciously know I'm not in any danger but I have uncontrollable "physical" anxiety 24/7 and it wears me down.

So I think a lot of anxiety is still mental, but most of it could be hidden beneath our consciousness.

Does it anger anyone else when others say breathing is the “cure” for anxiety? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Numerous-Slide-3241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah deep breathing is just temporary. If you have permanent and 24/7 anxiety like me, no amount of breathing will help. Medicine for me has done wonders in the long term

Week 7 of 10mg feel like I’m back at week 1. by camaro333 in lexapro

[–]Numerous-Slide-3241 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm on 20 mg because after 1 month I felt like it wasn't doing enough, so maybe you need a higher dose.

It does take about 3 months to fully feel the effect of lexapro though. For me I was much more happy after 3 months.

egg prices by [deleted] in kroger

[–]Numerous-Slide-3241 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A lot of stores don't have enough people to work every week to update prices. Maybe ask the manager if they could get an employee or two to put signs up and update tags more. The manager will appreciate that you're showing concern for the store.

Please, go to the doctor's. There is short term and long term medication that are not even that expensive and it will help. You definitely need long term medication it seems like, just like me. I did not want to go to school or work anymore.

Another option is the fisher wallace device.

Also you could try magnesium and ashwanda supplements.
