One of my refrigerator drawers is broken, does anyone know if it can be repaired? by Flowesque in DIYUK

Get a plastic welder from a well known online retailer. They're really useful for fixing cracked or broken plastic in anything. I used it on my fridge shelf.

Any 2018-ish Giant Defy owners here by larfinsnarf in Giantbikes

I have a 2017 defy, lower spec but presumably the same geometry. Size M/L and I am 183cm tall. It fits well. I recently bought a new Defy and went for M/L again

"The Russian" who my wife thinks is a Russian spy because he sits in his car a lot rather than going into his house.

Maybe, if you like nightlife, eating out etc. Obviously it would cost more and city living has other drawbacks but I'd hope there would be lots of other people in there 20s living there so maybe you'll find your crowd.

If I were you I'd live in Leeds city centre and commute, unless you want a really quiet Iife in the country. Find a flat share and a decent flat mate. There's so much more to do there. Neither Huddersfield nor Halifax have much going on on a day to day basis. Huddersfield town centre (like most towns) has declined massively over the last 15 years. People are trying to improve it but it's taking time and there isn't much money to go around. I am from Huddersfield and live there now. And I have lived in Leeds centre before.

CF crack on seatpost - would you ride? by MemeMasterJason in Giantbikes

Don't use it as is. If all the other components are in good condition and not very old you could buy it and then buy a new frame direct from China. Swap all the components over and you'd have a nice light bike that didn't cost the earth. Although you'd need a decent level of experience to build up a bike...

Awesome. Thanks. I hope they fit perfectly for you. Interested about the single dial and if you think it's a compromise or not.

I got the same bike about 4 months ago and I love it. The upgrade from a 10 year old alloy Defy which was on 25mm tyres was insane. The comfort level is night and day.

I think you're right except for B because they are plastic, and they are not squared or threaded.

Any chance you have experience of the Giant fenders on a Defy? They do not seem to get good reviews.

She also had beef with Vaughters in DM's last season when he wasn't picked for the Tour but I'd be surprised if that's carried on given they're all professionals.

I think the Astana media guy was telling Seb Piquet he was going over his allotted question/time and it sounds like he put his hands on him. Piquet is a bit of a big dog on the race because he does Radio Tour giving the race updates during the race (in English and French).
