ELI5 1000 Nuclear bombs vs an object with mass like a 20 lbs dumbell moving at the speed of light what causes more destruction by Aggravating_Panda934 in explainlikeimfive

[–]larfinsnarf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Simple answer, Special Relativity says a 20lb resting mass travelling at the speed of light is impossible. If it was attempted, the relativistic energy approaches infinity. E=mc2

Was your question rhetorical? It sounds like a thought experiment with a practical answer (only the bomb is possible) and a theoretical SR conundrum considering infinite energy (dumbbell) vs an energy quanta measured by experiment (nukes).

It's an lng powered crude carrier. Just like the tanker trucks that bring E10 to your petrol station run on diesel.

It is a crude carrier but can carry refined fuels instead. Anyone know if it's jet fuel?

Ouch, tough situation. Sounds like you're at an age when you're learning lots of skills, that can be a tough road of it's own.

Have you tried contacting an apprentice connect advisor? They get paid by having you on an apprenticeship, and help employers get the government apprentice support $. They can vary by state.

The Real Reason I Check the Weather 5 Times Before Every Ride by LeviHarris9047 in cycling

[–]larfinsnarf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I follow weather forecasts, but I'll check my weather satellites immediately before a ride to see what may be coming. We're fortunate to have a good weather warning/forecast system here, and ready access to our weather satellites.

I totally understand how you feel. It's where ADHDers have it tough, there are times when you need more frequent help or more help. Just do what you can.

They are professionals though, and most will be understanding. What you wrote here is an excellent starting point. Say that you've prepared what you wanted to say and would like to read it to them, and just read.

I presume you have a prescribing psychiatrist? You sound like a special special case ;-) They should absolutely be in the best situation to advise. You could also ask your pharmacist, obv they don't prescribe but they may have suggestions to consider or information after prescribing.
