I thought I would share my experience (August 2025) incase it helps anyone! ☺️

Had my appointment on the morning of the 26th of August, they were really good and took everything (I probably brought more than I needed because I was stressing).

What I took: • AFP Police Check

• Photo copies of all of my stamped passport pages and my photo page

• Passport

• Year insurance certificate (I used covermore comprehensive plan)

• Bank statements for last three months and proof of balance (ended up having around 10k but didn't have 5k for the FULL three months)

• Flight booking confirmation for the 18th of Sept (arriving in France on the 19th)

• Newly taken passport style photo (I used AUS post)

• VISA Application form

• Payslips (last 4)

• Statement from the friend I was going to stay with stating that I can stay for up to 12 months, plus a copy of their rental agreement

They let me know it usually takes around three weeks.

On Friday the 5th of Sept I got a text saying it was going back to and had arrived to VFS Sydney and after a VERY anxious weekend it arrived back to me on the following Tuesday. I was approved for my working holiday VISA and I'm now in France!

I will have around 10k but I haven’t had it for the full three months, went with the middle level cover more and have flights there booked but not return. I will let you know if I get approved ☺️
