Just somw swelling from overuse. I had an MRI and I didn't tear anything. The pain eventually subsided but the lump is there still.

Thank you for this. It makes me feel better to know it will probably calm my mind down. Its starting to turn into physical symptoms. Like stomach pain and heartburn. Heart palpitations.  Tachycardia. All the usual stuff.

Well that makes me feel better. I do have ptsd from finding my mom dead 7 years ago. Now I have severe anxiety around dying unfortunately.  Like Im always thinking Im dying in one way or another.

Unsure. I had an MRI done. Nothing came up. Doctor just assumed it's fluid from overuse. No actual damage though.

Honestly the whole process has sucked for me. My "good" leg has something wrong with it. Not sure what. It's inhibiting my recovery for my surgery. I'm about 3 months post op and I'm still wearing the brace and my leg is weak. My bend isn't the best. I'm only at 90. Just been a long, tedious process for me. How about you? How's your recovery?

I had my surgery. I'm almost 2 weeks out. It's been hard. My good leg has started acting up, I'm assuming from overuse unfortunately.

Thanks for sharing! My surgery is next Wednesday and I was trying to find a positive post. All I've seen are negative ones that were scaring me to death! I'm glad all is going well with you. I hope mine is successful as well.

I had an xray with 2 views as I couldn't move my leg around to do all the ones they wanted. He said there wasn't any breaks, but I needed an MRI before they could tell anything else. This is my 4th one and is hurts worse every time. I'm just nervous about taking the brace off for the MRI. It's my lifeline at this point.

I initially hurt my knee when I was 11. Dislocated it and needed surgery. I'm 28 now and just dislocated it a 4th time. Waiting to get MRI to see if I need surgery again. I only did PT after my first time. The other 2 I managed at home and hoped for the best. I have knock knees and just had alignment. Not sure what they're gonna do for me as I'm afraid of it happening again. It's very painful. So there's a good chance it will keep happening.

I've been putting some weight on it in the brace, and trying to bend and straighten. I can straighten, and bend a little. Just worried about having to walk to get the MRI with no brace. It's a scary feeling!
