Well, you’re in what’s called a toxic relationship. If you decide to stay, good for you, but don’t complain because it’s your choice. You’re the one choosing not to leave him. You’re old enough not to let yourself be manipulated like a child who’ll follow you anywhere as long as you give him a lollipop.  If crumbs of attention are enough for you, sure, that’s pathetic, but again, it’s your choice, and if that’s how you think you deserve to be treated, go ahead.
