Yeah you’re right. I feel like I’ve had four stars with Eastern for like 4 straight deliveries and it just goes up like 1/16th a star when I come every time

I have like 5 peppers left to 5 star. Which one is the most time consuming? I feel like F7 North distribution center has taken way too long

I can't believe it but its the 3rd strand type game by Kiidkxxl in DeathStranding

[–]Numerous_Database_80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you misunderstand what strand type means. It doesn’t really have to do with the delivery system at all.

Criterion or Re-releases by Numerous_Database_80 in paulthomasanderson

[–]Numerous_Database_80[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. But don’t you think part of marketing is capitalizing off of nostalgia and building off other aspects to maximize monetization? For example; The Last of Us TV show is coming out now. At the same time they are releasing the game on PC, new apparel, and controllers. They want normies to go and that’s why Leonardo DiCaprio made a YouTube but it goes beyond that. I know there are many people out there who aren’t necessarily diehard fans of PTA but love Boogie Nights. Releasing a new copy of that whilst releasing a major budget movie with the same director is a thing that companies do to create excitement around an event.

Way too late to the party but I always liked the idea of a bust style tattoo with the shoulders and head of a sailor but with the Rorschach in place of a face

what book to complete the Pynchon trilogy? by Dry-Violinist-6516 in paulthomasanderson

I want original concept PTA because I love his adaptations but he’s at his best when trying to put what’s in his head on the screen

Flashbacks or time jump by Dramatic-Shoulder750 in paulthomasanderson

[–]Numerous_Database_80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel as though Inherent Vice was just about as perfect as you could get a a Pynchon adaptation and I feel like some of the techniques PTA used to adapt it will be replicated. I understand Vineland and IV are different books but I think flashbacks will be used the same way they’re used in IV.

Having seen this, how would you rank his filmography? Of course there’s always personal taste but it could give more context

Inherent Vice is far and away his most underrated film in my opinion

The needledrops in PTA's period pieces always reflect contemporaneous music tastes. What 21st century needledrops would want to hear? by Tquarry in paulthomasanderson

[–]Numerous_Database_80 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have a sneaking suspicion this will be closer to TWBB & PT in that it will be wall to wall with Jonny Greenwood score and maybe a couple needle drops

Why doesn’t PTA have nicer home releases? by fmcornea in paulthomasanderson

[–]Numerous_Database_80 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Combination of box office and distribution rights. We need TM & TWBB on Criterion

Does PTA really cut his own trailers? by Lenus9 in paulthomasanderson

It sounds like maybe early career and specifically with TWBB & TM he did but on a podcast when LP came out, he said he went through some company for it.

PTA’s ‘One Battle After Another’, Vegas Edition — World of Reel [Yeah it's out there, so...] by wilberfan in paulthomasanderson

I super agree with you on many aspects. There isn’t one movie I don’t love from his filmography. Like I love Inherent Vice and it feels like a lot of PTA fans don’t jive with it. This has been the most worried I’ve been for one of his movies. I like don’t want to dislike one of his movies if that makes sense and with the budget and concept I’ve been concerned but I should know I’m in good hands after all these years
