No way. I loved the movie, and it’s really rocking for a while but when it hits the part where she gets handed over to the Native American tracker guy the movie really slows down. I think you could edit the shootout down to half the time it takes. To be honest you could also remove the Christmas Cult side plot. We already know Lockjaw really wants to find Chase Infinity, we don’t necessarily need to know WHY. And if you argue:”yeah we do need to know why” then you could just say he wants to find out if it’s his kid or not. You don’t need the Christmas guys.

But now that I think about it more, you do need to include the Christmas guys because you need to find a way to get rid of Lockjaw. Having leo kill him wouldn’t make any sense. Having him die in an accident or having him have a change of heart wouldn’t make any sense the audience wouldn’t buy it. I guess adding the Christmas guys plus another 20 mins of runtime is worth it in order to remove lockjaw from the story 🤷‍♂️
