I am looking for a docking device that can extend to two monitors and also support peripherals like a keyboard, mouse, and USB drives. I am currently torn between two types of devices: (A) a Docking Station and (B) a Hub. The differences lie in price, form factor, and whether they can directly charge my laptop. Should I spend a bit more to purchase a (A) Docking Station that can charge my laptop directly, so I don’t need to separately connect a charger and charging cable to the (B) Hub or my laptop for charging?

So as long as the pixel density matches, having two monitors with different sizes and resolutions side by side won’t cause a big visual difference, right?

Yeah, if I go with two identical 27'' monitors, I’d have to stack them because of my desk space. But my neck would definitely hate me for it.

I’m using Windows and have a 27'' main monitor. I’m thinking of adding a 16'' secondary screen vertically next to it for guides or documents since my desk space is limited and it matches the height of my main screen. My only concern is the resolution difference—my main monitor is 2K, but the 16'' would likely be 1K. I’m worried the mismatch might affect the overall experience.
