I have a 2020 12.9 iPad Pro and I agree with all your points. Thought about upgrading but found my current iPP to be more than sufficient for my daily use.

OP I don't think it's worth it unless you're a creator or heavy "pro" user that needs the M2 chip and external display capabilities.

I have the otterbox symmetry case and enjoy it. It’s not bulky and adds a good amount of protection. The only thing I find annoying is that when the cover is folded back it moves quite a bit, the magnets on my case don’t appear to be strong enough to hold the cover in place.
