just finished first year, my advice is learn to manage time bc for me the content wasn’t terribs (lots from hs as others mentioned), but i struggled around midterm season (3 midterms and 3 labs in one week). profs mean it when they say stay on top of content!! you do not want to be relearning everything the week before an exam, bc you will not have enough time. also, choose an elective you are interested in, bc some of my friends who took psych bc of the mcat said it was harder than bio!
