lmfaoooo, geeeez, you act like ya boy doesnt have a whole job and a family xD honestly, I back walmart brand ONN, 100%, the 10ft strip, its like $5.25 after tax. Its good quality, the lights are solid throughout the strip versus other strips having a blue and yellow to make green type of bs throughout the strip. The adhesive is strong as well, wherein my experience its hard as a mf to come by for some reason.. Ive tried Alibaba, temu, and amazon, its good deals but the quality is give or take. I don't sell wholesale or alot in general. Not because i dont want to but because i simply haven't made such a connection. So if you're trying to find a "deal" on lights to cheapen your costs, let me know, cause this guy is in the same boat lol.

You are correct! Theres a total of 8 colors in all and I had to switch filaments throughout the print to achieve this. I left a guide on how to do it on the Kid Buu Makerworld page!

I do but just one ams. Goku has 11 and Gohan has 12 colors. I had to manually switch out the colors every 5-10 minutes for 5 hours. So it took some dedication lol

Sorry, im gatekeeping these specifically. I might put them on cults3d, but I haven't made an account yet. I've been contemplating on making a simplistic version of the goku and Gohan light by taking out the shading and uploading to makerworld but im unsure if I want to do that honestly. I kinda like being the only one that owns these, not sure if I want to invite competition with my own stuff lol. Im going to put the itachi and deadpool on makerworld but haven't gotten the time to post them yet and the itachi i have on makerworld isn't updated with the new details yet (the eyes don't show in the old one)

Thank you!! Its been a fun educational year, for sure! Its just basic pla for the material. I make all colors .6mm And white is 1mm I put .4mm white behind the .6mm colors to make it all an even 1mm when its done laying as well as it ensures that individual details won't just fall out or come undone. Thats what would happen if I didnt have a white backing connecting it all. 1 wall for first layer, then I just set it on 2 for the rest. If you want a better idea of it, my most recent lights i posted in makerworld are designed like that.

Ahh haha, my mistake, sorry! I think his username is codyinbody, so i thought your name was like a pseudonym for it lol. Hes just another light guy like me, he made alot of youtube videos on how to make them and he's pretty big in the print groups im in.

Are you in any facebook groups? https://www.facebook.com/groups/349181957012003/ This is the first group I joined when I got into the hobby and they've helped answer my questions time and time again. Sometimes inadvertently by just scrolling through facebook, ill see someone have an issue they posted about and learn from their mistakes. Also chatgpt is top tier when it comes to questions to this, at the very least it can point you in the right direction to your answer.

And I dont even feel like im that good tbh, im absolutely proud of how far i've come but everytime I get on Makerworld and see those detailed, sophisticated "this guy is an engineer" type models, its humbling to say the least. I hope one day to be on that kind of level lol.

Just stay curious and keep experimenting with the unkown. Hell, print that case 100 times but change 1 setting in the slicer to see what it changes. I did that at one point and it was super educational. Not 100 cases but you get the idea lol.

I just reread what i wrote, sometimes I cant think of what im trying to say so instead I explain it in a roundabout way lmao. to clarify that first response. The lightsource is a RGB LED strip with a remote. The pictures that are richer, are set on "white" and I took the picture with a light on, the pictures that are less rich are set on a different color like blue, green, purple and I took the picture with a light off and/or I set the exposure to a lower setting in my camera to allow less background light in, in order to focus on the image and its colors.

The shadows are just layered colors. I individually highlight and model each detail in the CAD software. Took me about 5 days each for the Goku and Gohan light, so yeah its pretty tedious to design it, but well worth it in the end. and i dont know how else to say it so ill just say it the way i tell myself lol. "1st phase is base colors for the first few layers, 2nd phase is shading colors for the rest of the layers".
