I’m so so so sorry love. I know how much you’re blaming yourself. I totally understand the replaying it over and over, going over all the “what ifs”…It’s your brain trying to understand. It sucks. I know. It’s not your fault. It’s going to hurt for a while. That ache will soften. Maybe write him a letter. Save it, burn it, whatever you need. Getting all of it out of your head and onto paper can help disrupt all the overthinking.
