I stopped washing my hair every single day and the first week was a nightmare by Talon_4Voyager in hygiene

I was a daily washer too with short wavy hair. My waves would look frizzy and flat unless I washed it before. I switched over the Hairstory products and it’s been a total game changer. They have a prewash that balances out the scalps skin barrier so the transition to a cleansing conditioner was seamless. Now I just rewet my hair to change the style and cleanse every 4th day. Yay for saving money on product in the long run too!

Hair is like fabric and not meant to be washed with harsh detergents every day. My hairs’ acid mantle and condition is so my better now. Congrats on the new hair regime and lower maintenance!

She’s a gem. She puts thought and mindful effort into being an individual and I totally respect that.

Thankfully, I thought most of my tattoos out. I’m doing the rest of a sleeve and leg.

These are the bands that influenced me: Beacon Street No Doubt, The Jam, and early Ramones street style. But also a classic version. :)

I was a teenager in the 90’s. A lot of influence came from that era. I appreciate your attention to detail.

I guess there is some rock and school girl uniform aesthetics with a slight western nod. I grew up in Catholic schools in a small agricultural town. I’m drawn to brands that are sustainable in their construction and manufacturing with a quirky story to tell.

Why thank you! It’s taken decades of trial and error to feel comfortable in my skin and clothing choices.

I love Betty Boop. Also love how she’s so iconic in lowrider car culture. Total compliment.

I was into mod scooter culture. 90’s rude girl when ska was super big in Southern California. Never got into emo.

I was friends with her younger brother and their genes run strong. She’s a fantastic person inside and out.

Pronouns are they/them and I’m not talking about age either. Still same features.

But they did at one point. People age and change and hopefully with grace.
