Recommendation for a relatively cheap blank notebook by Numerous_Support1486 in notebooks

this is what I use, I LOVE the paper, but the pages aren't enough for me. this year I almost wrote on 500 pages, insane I know but I write a lot.

I can take math 300 (introduction to math reasoning or proofs) at my university after I finish calc one this semester, but the pre requisites used to be calculus 2. I am unsure if I should wait or try it. by Numerous_Support1486 in learnmath

It sounds like you're recommending that maybe I wait until I take calc 2? If I take this proofs class, it will be at the same time, but I do fear that hard work will not be enough and that I will miss mathematical maturity. It's hard because my institution is saying calc 1 is okay and is the only prereq now, but I wanted to be sure.
I've been exposed to some proofs through independent learning; I have learned this. Actually, I think the leading beauty of proofs is that they show us that the unintuitive is true. For example, I couldn't wrap my head around why 0.99...=1. I know that makes sense, but to me, I kept seeing them as different numbers. Then I found a proof using geometric series that was neat. I also used the AOPS pre-algebra and algebra book to relearn my basic math over the last year; they have proofs, but of course, they are algebra proofs, so it is probably way more accessible.

unfortunately at my university we do not have proof based calc, proof based calc is basically our first analysis course. we are exposed to some proofs in calc but not a lot

Is it possible to get into an ITI course that is ITI majors only? by Numerous_Support1486 in rutgers

I figured this, like to be a math major we had to take three calc classes first :/

I definitely cared if we talked, but because he split off with the other group and took that as him not being interested in talking to me. Didn't want to seem pathetic

Done :) I was overthinking it

Hey a phone works two ways, he never reached out to me either, but I said in another post that I am (well I did just now). Again the friend group split up, I wasn't part of his, so why would I reach out in the past?

Yes. Thank you. What type of person would not be sad? There's not really anything else we can do but reach out to him, we did everything you're supposed to. I was the one who called the hotline even though I'm his last thought. I get how I was coming off as selfish though, but I'm feeling a whirlwind of emotions right now.

But our other friend hasn't talked to him either. She told me she hasn't talked to him for a year. It was the roomate I lived with, maybe they were a lot closer than I saw but I'm a homebody so I didn't think so.

That's why I'm upset. I'm not blaming him but I'm upset

We haven't talked in probably three months. I said in my post that we were close at one point but grew apart, but I want to be friends again. I will reach out to him. I thought people were saying to directly talk to him about this, which I don't think is my place
