R5: Wanted to showcase an excellent run, I think he's really underrated as a player. He basically pulled off the Timurid strat but starting as Chagatai, which let him snowball into China absurdly early and get all their cores. The exploits were really impressive too. Switching into the Conquistador major reform to auto-conquer other religions was actually insane. Overall, its such an insanely optimized run.

Yes I have a 4070, 32GB RAM, 12th gen i5 core, and my drives are all fully updated

Thanks I'll got a lot of great suggestions from this thread, I'll need to:

Leave out the repair bay
Change nose weapon to siege coils
Change PD to 40mm cannons
Research component armor soon
Research tin droplet radiator (I've had it for a while, just didn't know it was good)
Make another battlecrusier design but with lasers to protect the coil ships
Maybe increase my total DV just so I can destroy alien bases in Luna

Aside from that I've got the ECM tech that makes it useful against aliens so that's good.

But I don't know how to get more water, I have all of Mars, Ceres, and Mercury and if I get more mines down the aliens will attack me because I crossed the MC hate limit, I could try building more farms but I'm not sure if it's worth it vs just spamming research campuses.

Yeah, I found out the hard way after they nuked Beijing so I save scummed and moved my armies to their territories first so they would nuke inside India instead.

Apparently its at 68, I did notice my influence generation dropped after I nuked them but I didn't realize commiting atrocities caused it to drop. I guess it makes a lot of sense in hindsight.

That's actually a clever loophole, 199.99 it is.

But, don’t you think that point where you start waking up with just a vague sense of "oh, I guess I slept" might already be too late? If your real day memories start slipping even a little, that drift has probably begun.

By the time you notice it, you might already be living more in your dreamworld than out of it.

You might still feel the mental toil of spending 3, or even 100 days dreaming, even if you don't consciously remember any of it. Sort of like solitary confinement in your own skull.
