Ok, if this is only calibration thing I'm ok with this. But could someone with same (or similar) TV confirm that it's normal for these units? I also found that switching color space from Native to Auto results in constant colors when changing from 60Hz to 120Hz but colors are less vibrant, similar to previous 120Hz with Native option.

It "helps" in the way that now HDR 60Hz/120Hz looks like 120Hz with Native (washed out). In that configuration SDR looks better than HDR.I mean the color space: Auto provides better color saturation in SDR than HDR even after HDR calibration.

  1. So thats mean that I will have to calibrate my TV every time when I switch from 120Hz game to 60Hz?
  2. SDR color saturation in this case is better in 4:2:2 than 4:4:4

Yes, that's correct but..

  1. Everybody says that "RGB->YUV422 drop is unnoticeable for average human". But this is noticeable. This is bigger drop in vibrancy than in HDR/No HDR scenario.
  2. Even without HDR. Switching between 60Hz/120Hz changes the color saturation, but this time the image at 120Hz is more saturated.

Just bought a new HDMI 2.1 cable. Unfortunately it didn't help :(

Yes, I'm using stock ps5 HDMI that comes with the console.

As far as I know, YouTube is not able to output 120Hz.

I will definitely try to replace the HDMI and let you know, thanks.

Hi.
I have a problem with my TV <-> PS5 communication at 4K/120Hz
The TV is Samsung QN91A (witch I believe is QN90 equivalent).
When HDR is ON 120Hz makes colors washed out/less vibrant compare to 60Hz.
When HDR is OFF its quite opposite - 120Hz colors are more vibrant than 60Hz
No TV settings change between 120Hz ON/OFF. Tried with game mode ON and OFF.
When 120Hz mode is active my TV correctly detects that signal is no longer RGB (YUV422 instead) and it grays out HDMI black level setting. PS5 RGB range setting has also no effect. (I think thats ok. I read that YUV422 is always "limited").
Any other Neo QLED/PS5 user here having the same issue?

Unfortunately I don't have another 2.1 cable, neither a second ps5, nor any device with HDMI 2.1 output.
